| 1. Experience
Through our extensive experience, we can help to speed up the learning process. In the real world, that costly commodity, time, is of the essence. Results are needed quickly to make the most of commercial opportunities.
We come into the picture with open minds, without the baggage that often clouds issues, enabling us to focus directly on the key issues affecting the performance of your company. We do not have ‘the one approach for all your problems’ that characterises so many of the big consultancy houses. If you are looking for theoretical solutions from newly qualified MBAs, you probably will not want us. From us you will get the practical skills, expertise and insights of battle scarred veterans in the business world. Our solutions are always practical, easily understood and workable! We have spent too much of our working lives trying to implement other types of solutions for us to do anything else.
We do not claim to be able to resolve problems overnight! However, we can apply our experience to provide consultancy, develop effective e-commerce strategies, or to design programmes to manage change and maximise real 'learning through doing' in areas critical to your success. Thereby some real, rather than cosmetic, changes are achieved more quickly, which focus on your people and on your priorities. |
2. Track record
We have a track record of success with large companies embarking on major programmes of change. In particular, much of our experience has been gained through working with companies in the UK which were emerging from many years of government control, to establish their new roles as successful commercial enterprises. For instance, we have developed and run management change programmes for British Telecom. |
3. Staying with you
We will also work with you and your people to derive the business benefits from our interventions and programmes, as well as to develop a network that facilitates sharing of learning and of learning experiences. What we will not do is to leave you with complex management models that are difficult to apply, or to provide advice and leave you to make sense of it to gain the results, or to sell you “off the shelf” training solutions claiming that they are tailor-made.Neither will we make breathtakingly high charges. |
